Is this pompous film star really the world’s most beautiful woman?

Insufferable elitist Gwyneth Paltrow has found yet another way to remind the world that, yes, she is much better than everyone else.

The 40-year-old actress was named People magazine’s World’s Most Beautiful Woman yesterday — which she chalks up to her rich, privileged regimen of two-hour daily workouts, $70 Or de Rose Baume Précieux lip balm, and splurging on meals of “a fresh baguette and cheese.”

“I have to work out Monday through Friday for almost two hours every day, and it’s a nightmare. Sometimes I cry, like ‘I can’t do this anymore!’ ” the Manhattan prep grad whined to the magazine.

New Yorkers told the holier-than-thou Hollywood princess — whose mom, actress Blythe Danner, is entertainment royalty, as was her late dad, director Bruce Paltrow — to get real.

“If I had money, a personal trainer and a chef, I would look that good,” said Melanie Pick, 27, an auditor at Deloitte. “It’s a little bit of a shot to the everyday woman. It’s not realistic.”

Paltrow, wed to Coldplay’s Chris Martin and a mom of two — Apple and Moses — enrages people daily with oblivious advice on her lifestyle site, Goop.

The site hawks $82 pajamas — which her kids sleep in — $425 colon cleanses with phases called “move” and “encourage,” and custom-made, one-shoulder exercise tops.

And in March, she posted this year’s “spring essential” clothing — which totaled more than $450,000 and included a $795 Valentino iPad case.

When asked about the wardrobe price tag, Paltrow explained to People, “It’s just supposed to be an inspiration. I’m just doing the best I can.”

Some critics said Paltrow doesn’t really deserve the title of most beautiful woman — and instead pointed to the May release date of her newest movie.

“Is she really the most beautiful because they think she’s the most beautiful, or is it because ‘Iron Man’ is coming out?” asked celebrity stylist Phillip Bloch.
