The feds busted a stripper charged with extorting former Knick star Mark Jackson by threatening to go public with nude photos of the married and religious hoops figure after their steamy affair, court records have revealed.

Alexis Adams, a one-time Big Apple jiggler who now lives in Atlanta, had a tryst with the former St. John’s standout and current Golden State Warriors coach six years ago while he was an announcer for the New Jersey Nets.

In April, she and an accomplice, Marcus Shaw, 40, allegedly demanded hush money to keep photos from “vultures in the media,” according to a complaint filed in Northern California.

Jackson, a father of four, confessed to the affair in a written statement after TheSmokingGun.com Web site revealed it.

“I recognize the extremely poor judgment that I used both in having an affair six years ago — including the embarrassing communication I exhibited during that time — and in attempting to deal with the extortion scheme at first by myself,” Jackson said in a prepared statement.

“I made some egregious errors. I apologize for any embarrassment I may have caused my family, friends and, of course, the Warriors.”

Jackson, who established a ministry with his wife three years ago in California, said his fling flew in the face of his Christian faith — although he said that he was not a pastor at the time of the affair.

Adams has been charged with conspiracy and extortion, and faces up to five years in prison, the feds said. Shaw is charged with extortion, and faces up to two years.

“The affair lasted less than a year. During the affair, [the victim] sent photographs of himself to Adams and some of the photographs were of [the victim] without any clothing and of [his] genitalia,” according to an affidavit signed last week by FBI Special Agent Beth Alvarez.

Even though Adams ratted out Jackson to Desiree Coleman, his wife of 22 years, the basketball wife stuck by her man, feds said.

The defendants made their first big move on April 3, when Shaw allegedly approached Jackson at a Memphis hotel.

Shaw, who lives in College Park, Ga., allegedly gave Jackson pictures and a CD with embarrassing tape recordings. The coach forked over $5,000 on the spot and destroyed the compromising goods.

But Adams and Shaw really wanted more than $185,000, the feds said.

The FBI claims it has phone records to show Shaw and Adams working in tandem.

Shaw told Jackson’s wife, in an April 20 e-mail containing samples of the photos, that the coach needed to protect himself from embarrassment.

Adams posted $25,000 bail on Monday, while Shaw was sprung yesterday on a $30,000 bond.

Shaw has a rap sheet with a conviction for robbery, and he was once arrested on suspicion of murder, although that charge was later dropped.

Jackson has been a white-collar-crime victim before. His business manager pleaded guilty in 2004 to ripping off more than $1.5 million from him.

Jackson, an alum of Bishop Loughlin HS in Brooklyn, played his first pro seasons with the Knicks, from 1987 to 1992, and then returned for another season and a half from 2001 to 2002.
