Pint-sized actress Kristin Chenoweth was knocked out by a piece of falling scaffolding on the Williamsburg set of “The Good Wife” yesterday and suffered a seizure after the terrifying accident, sources told The Post.

The incident occurred at about 5 p.m. when Chenoweth (pictured) — who has won Emmy and Tony awards — was filming a guest spot on the CBS legal drama.

The equipment fell about 15 feet, the sources said.

The 4-foot-11 star was seizing for about 30 seconds and briefly lost consciousness, according to the sources.

“It happened so fast, so obviously there was no time to waste,” said a witness, Valeriu Critac, who, called 911 and rushed to the actress’ side. “There was a little blood on the sidewalk. She wasn’t moving. I looked at her and she had her eyes closed,” said Critac, who works near the set on Kent Avenue and North Sixth Street.

Another witness, who asked not to be identified, said Chenoweth was struck squarely on the head.

“It was a big hit,” he said. “She was definitely hurt. She didn’t move.”

Emergency responders tended to the actress as she lay on the ground, employing an oxygen mask. Then they put her on a stretcher with a neck brace, and into an ambulance.

Concerned co-star Josh Charles stood nearby, along with about a dozen others.

Chenoweth, 43, was rushed to Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan, where she was listed in stable condition. Another person suffered minor injuries.

Charles and others from the show rushed to visit her.

“She’s doing OK. She’s going to spend the night,” one friend said late last night.

The network released a statement saying a gust of wind knocked the equipment over.

“All of us at the studio and the show are thinking about Kristin and wishing her a quick recovery,” the statement said.

About an hour before the accident, Chenoweth was apparently looking for a way to beat the heat.

“Where is a 7/11 when i need one?” she tweeted.

Chenoweth — who has starred in shows like “Pushing Daisies” and “The West Wing” and was the original “Glinda” in Broadway’s “Wicked” — snagged a role on the “The Good Wife” playing a nosy reporter digging into the personal lives of the characters played by Julianna Margulies and Chris Noth.

It will be a recurring role. Her character will debut in the season premiere.

Chenoweth is no stranger to on-scene accidents.

Last year, she hurt her back when she fell down concrete stairs on the set of “Glee.”

In 2006, she fell from the stage during rehearsals for the Broadway revival of “The Apple Tree.”

And in 2003, she hurt her neck while working on “Wicked.”
