WATCH: Gov. Christie loses temper in Seaside Heights

Snooki and her tanned pals aren’t the only ones causing trouble at the Jersey Shore.

During a visit to Seaside Heights on Thursday night, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie engaged in a shouting match with a passerby who criticized the pol for his policy on education.

In the 29-second video, posted this afternoon on TMZ.com, Christie is seen clutching an ice cream cone as the heckler mocked the Governor, who lashed out following the comment.

“You’re a real big shot…you’re a real big shot shootin’ your mouth off,” Christie said while walking down the Seaside Heights boardwalk.

The man replied to Christie, “Nah, just take care of the teachers!”

Christie then pursued the man, attempting to goad him.

“Keep walkin’ away…really good…keep walkin’,” Christie said.

The governor was then pulled away and paused to take pictures with two other boardwalk patrons.

Christie has been a proponent of increasing spending for New Jersey charter schools rather than allotting the funds for the struggling public schools in the Garden state.

Christie was also expected to sign a bill raising the bar on requirements for teacher tenure, and lowering the standards for teachers to lose tenure.
