Bonehead bomb ‘joke’ sparks scare at theater ahead of First Lady visit

This joke really bombed on Broadway.

First Lady Michelle Obama and her two young daughters were on their way to see “Spiderman, Turn Off the Dark” at the Foxwoods Theater in Times Square today when a numbskull threatened to “blow up” the place if he didn’t like the show.

“If the show’s no good, I’m going to blow it up,” the unidentified idiot said as Secret Service agents were screening the theater before the start of the matinee, a federal source told The Post.

Agents searched the theater and determined that the “threat” was bogus, the source said.

It was unclear if the man knew that the First Lady and daughters Sasha and Malia were planning to take in the 3 p.m. show at the theater at 214 W. 43rd St.

Obama and her girls were still in their motorcade after a brunch fund-raiser in Pocantico Hills in Westchester, headed to Midtown, when the “threat” was made, the source said.

Agents “just slowed [the motorcade] down” to allow more time for a full security sweep before they arrived, the source said, adding that the First Lady was not affected by the stunt.

The show went on as planned with Obama and her daughters in attendance.
