Police yesterday identified a suspect in the shooting death of an innocent Queens teen felled by a single bullet to the head while riding a city bus earlier this month.
Cops are looking for Kevin McClinton, 21, whom they described as 5-foot-10 and 160 pounds with dreadlocks.
Detectives fingered McClinton as a suspect from tips they received during days of questioning witnesses.
D’aja Robinson, 14, boarded the Q6 bus in the Jamaica on May 18 after leaving a Sweet 16 celebration at a nearby lounge.
The gunman fired 10 shots and fled on foot, according to detectives at the crime scene.
Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said the high-school freshman was not the shooter’s intended victim.
Kelly called D’aja’s death “another senseless murder.”
Authorities are still investigating a motive and possible ties to gang activity.
