10 weirdest fast foods ever sold

Get your barf bags ready.

On Monday, Taco Bell announced that it was getting into the morning breakfast business. Stop in on the way to work for a waffle taco — sausage and egg wrapped in a waffle crust. Yum!

Here are more unimaginably weird, but presumably tasty, fast-food menu items — some of which have already been dropped – and fast – from the menu.

McDonald’s McLobster

McDonald’s in Canada is just plain McFancy. For slightly under $7, Mickey D fans up north can get 100 percent Atlantic lobster meat, diced celery, shredded lettuce and light dressing on a soft roll.

Pizza Hut Hot Dog Crust

Cheese wasn’t enough. Pizza Hut in Australia added a hot dog-stuffed crust to the menu. Ads described it as succulent, but a giant frankfurter ring just sounds weird.

Taco Bell Doritos Locos Taco Supreme

Taco Bell has cut your junk food binging process in half. The Mexican fast-food chain got the good folks of Doritos on board for a beefy, cheesy and crispy feast. This menu item will set you back just $1.69.

Wendy’s Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger

The popular grilled-burger joint introduced a pretzel-bun burger that went over surprisingly well with their fans. Ex-boy bander Nick Lachey even wrote a love song about it.

McDonald’s McRib

This one was riddled with controversy after a photo of a block of frozen McRibs went viral, though loyal pork lovers were unswayed by the shocking image. They even went on to launch a McRib locator website.

Burger King Bacon Sundae

This might be one weird dish we can get behind. Everyone loves ice cream and bacon, right? Put the two together and drizzle chocolate fudge and caramel sauce all over? Heaven!

Dunkin’ Donuts Bacon and Egg Donut

Hello, heart attack. Dunkin’ Donuts is betting their customers would wager an ER visit for a bite of their glazed doughnut breakfast sandwich.

Burger King French Fry Burger

BK’s quality and control manager must have been on vacation when this brainy idea went through. Burger King slapped four fries on a burger and called it a meal.

Cinnabon Pizzabon

Famous for its namesake sugary sweet pastries, an Atlanta-based Cinnabon chain imagined them with marinara sauce. A brief promotion for $2.99 offered customers the taste of a slice, on minibun topped with pepperoni and cheese.

McDonald’s Mighty Wings

Customers in the drive-thru must have done a double take when they noticed boxes of wings on the menu. After a slow start in sales — a reported 10 million wings went unsold — the box is back with five wings for $3.
