The show put together an oceanfront set in the Sandy-ravaged community that includes old-time storefronts and elaborately carved wooden dividers.
The made-for-TV look marks the resurgence of New York’s superstorm-damaged coast, as Staten Islanders this weekend celebrated the reopening of the 1.7 mile Franklin D. Roosevelt Boardwalk.
