Five endangered turtles have been born at the Prospect Park Zoo in Brooklyn.
The Chinese big-headed turtles, born in November, are the first of their kind to be conceived in a North American zoo, the Wildlife Conservation Society says.
The wildlife group has a total of 15 of the turtles in city zoos.
