Vaccaro top N.Y. sportswriter – again

It’s back-to-back for Vac.

As he was in 2012, Mike Vaccaro, The Post’s lead sports columnist, has been named the New York Sportswriter of the Year for 2013 by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association.

A Long Island native and a New Jersey resident, Vaccaro has been a staple of The Post since coming aboard in November 2002 and has been honored with more than 50 awards throughout his career.

The NSSA — which has a membership of more than 1,100 sportswriters and sportscasters in the United States — also named the YES Network’s Ian Eagle as its New York Sportscaster of the Year and elected Marv Albert and Rick Reilly into its Hall of Fame.
