Oprah-Lohan sitdown ignored by viewers

Nobody cared.

Oprah Winfrey’s “exclusive” sitdown interview with troubled actress Lindsay Lohan bombed Sunday night — pulling in only 890,000 viewers on OWN at 9 p.m.

That doesn’t bode particularly well for Lohan’s eight-part reality show, set to premiere on OWN next year.

How bad were the ratings for Winfrey’s “Oprah’s Next Chapter” interview with Lohan?

By comparison, Winfrey’s March 2012 interview with members of Whitney Houston’s family — a month after the singer’s death — pulled in 3.5 million viewers, which is still an OWN record. And the first part of Winfrey’s two-part interview with disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong averaged 3.2 million viewers.

The Winfrey-Lohan sitdown was Lohan’s first interview since leaving rehab.
