Brooklyn woman dies after her motorcycle hits Belt Parkway pothole

A young Brooklyn woman was killed when her motorcycle hit a pothole on the Belt Parkway and sent her flying — making her the fifth biker to die this month in the city, cops said.

Jasmine Calix, 21, lost control of the 2004 Yamaha near Knapp Street at 8:40 p.m. Sunday, shortly after leaving the Full Throttle Anniversary Party in Sheepshead Bay, cops said.

She was pronounced dead at Coney Island Hospital.

“My ride home from work amazingly beautiful,” Calix had written on Facebook just this week.

A friend, who refused to be named, called her “a beautiful, young, sweet woman.”

She was also mourned on the Bikers of Brooklyn Riding Club’s Facebook page, where a post read: “The youngest member of our club . . . taken too quickly . . . may God keep you and your family in his firm grip.”

Four others were killed on motorcycles this month in Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan.
