Bronx teen arrested in father’s murder

A 16-year-old Bronx teenager was arrested in connection to his father’s murder Saturday night, according to police.

Ivan James Sr., 40, of University Heights, was found shot in the head on Thursday night, and was rushed to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

His son, Ivan James Jr., who lived with the dad, was charged Saturday night with murder in the second degree, manslaughter in the first degree, and one count of criminal possession of a weapon.

Police have not given a motive for the killing, saying the investigation is still ongoing.
