Wallet thief a crook with looks

She’s a stylish but sticky-fingered thief who is wanted for a pair of sneaky city robberies.

A cute 20-something snatched a woman’s wallet at the Key Food supermarket on Avenue A in the East Village on Jan. 31, police said.

The perp — wearing a white blouse, glasses with rectangular frames and her long dark hair tied back — then used the victim’s ATM card to make withdrawals at a Bank of America, police said.

“She just snuck [in] and took the victim’s wallet,” a police source said. “The victim wasn’t aware right away that her wallet had been lifted.”

It is unknown how much cash she stole.

The woman is also believed to have swiped a wallet on Nov. 17 at the Borough Hall subway station in Downtown Brooklyn.

Two days later — with her hair down and wearing the same glasses and a black coat — she withdrew $2,000 from the victim’s account at a Chase bank in Chelsea, police said.

It was unknown how the innocent-looking woman got the victim’s PIN to make withdrawals, police said.

Her look makes her unsuspicious, police said.

“We are just learning who she is,” said a source, “but a good pickpocket doesn’t give you a reason to think they’re a thief. She may have done this before.”

The thief is 5-foot-3 and about 120 pounds, police said.
