Here’s the sexy siren who lured South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford into a steamy, yearlong affair that imploded when the lovesick pol ditched his wife and four boys — and job — for a long, lost weekend in Argentina.
And though Sanford (inset) pined like a teen in love in a series of e-mail love notes, gushing over the tans lines, curvy hips and “gentle kisses” of “soulmate” Maria Belen Chapur, there was little of that in evidence when the grumpy-looking former journalist, clad in sneakers and sweats, lugged grocery bags from a supermarket in Buenos Aires Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the busted lothario and wife Jenny got out of town to work on their tattered marriage.
“The governor remains committed to working on his marriage,” spokesman Joel Sawyer said.
