Elisabeth Moss: ‘Mad Men’s’ biggest star

“Do you remember when I used to come in and bring you a–holes drinks and leave, and that was my job?” Elisabeth Moss recently asked her “Mad Men” co-stars.

But, as New York magazine notes in its latest cover story, her character, Peggy Olson, is now the star of the show.

And Moss has been so critically acclaimed for her role that when she introduced herself to Helen Mirren at the Golden Globes, Mirren replied: “I know who the f–k you are.”

Not that Moss takes it seriously.

“It’s a very strange profession, honestly,” the 31-year-old tells the magazine, which goes on sale Monday.

“My job is to get dressed in someone else’s clothes and go and pretend I’m someone else.

“Who does that? No one does that. Strippers and actors do that.”
