Judge refuses to unfreeze Kenneth Starr’s assets

He won’t need it where he’s going.

A judge today refused to unfreeze the assets of celebrity-scamming money manager Kenneth Starr, saying his recent guilty plea made a motion for legal fees “moot.”

Manhattan federal Judge Sidney Stein also denied an application for “living expenses” from Starr’s ex-stripper wife, who’s been holed up in the swanky Upper East Side triplex Starr bought with proceeds of his $50 million Ponzi scheme.

Stein said, however, that he’s willing to consider a claim by Diane Passage that she’s entitled to nearly $12,000 she earned shaking her moneymaker at Scores.
