Ex-JetBlue flight attendant stars in rap video

Loopy former JetBlue flight attendant Steven Slater — who lost it aboard a taxiing plane at JFK this summer and deflated the craft’s emergency chute to flee — is now trying his hand at rap.

In a new video, Slater, wearing a black hoodie, raps in what appears to be an ad for his new job. At one point he raps about “a steamer trunk squeezed into the overhead compartment, were there room for that crap I’d make it my apartment.”

Slater recently was hired to judge a contest to find the most outrageous airplane tale. Fliers were urged to text their crazy stories to the Queens resident as part of a Mile High Text Club promotion for Toktumi, the company that makes Line2, a mobile app that allows in-flight texting.
