Inside the marriage of Erin Barry, Tony Parker’s sexting gal pal

The home wrecker behind Eva Longoria and Tony Parker’s bust-up is a real-life desperate housewife and Catholic-school girl turned bad.

Erin Barry, 38, the estranged wife of Brent Barry, a former teammate of Parker’s, exchanged hundreds of sexually charged text messages with Parker for over a year.

But back in 2006, Erin Barry described a storybook marriage to Brent, then a guard with the San Antonio Spurs.

“We’ve been so blessed to have such good lives,” Erin said in an interview with San Antonio Woman magazine.

“To sit in your nice home and have your nice job and ignore the suffering that’s going on around you . . . you can’t enjoy the things you have if you don’t help those that are less fortunate . . . For me to be able to use the blessings that I have . . . it really feels good.”

In the interview, Erin identified herself as a housewife and mom.

She and Brent were high-school sweethearts who met while she was a student at an all-girls Catholic school in San Francisco and he attended the all-boys school across the street, she said.

She said they fell in love when they were 16 years old and on a date to see National Lampoon’s “Christmas Vacation.”

Erin also revealed that she was born to a single, teenage mother and adopted by a couple that later added three biological children to the family.

“It was kind of obvious,” she said. “Here I was with my dark hair and olive complexion in this Irish-Polish family.”

The implosion of Parker and Longoria’s relationship comes just weeks after the Barrys also decided to divorce.

The couple, which has two boys, ages 4 and 9, filed for divorce Oct. 29 in San Antonio, citing irreconcilable differences after 12 years of marriage.

Longoria found the text messages between Erin Barry and Parker and filed for divorce this week after just three years of marriage.

“Eva and I have been discussing our situation privately,” Parker said in a statement issued by his rep, Matthew Hiltzik, last night.

“We plan to continue to keep our discussions of this matter private.”

Sources close to Longoria said it was the multitude of sexy texts that was the last straw in a marriage already strained by long distance and an early infidelity by Parker.

“It happened, and they’ve moved on,” said a source familiar with the situation, insisting that “there was no physical relationship between Tony and Erin.”

“Extra” host Mario Lopez, a Longoria pal, said Parker cheated soon after the wedding and kept in touch with the woman on Facebook.
