ARLINGTON, Va. — Family, friends and employees paid their last respects yesterday to Sen. Robert Byrd.
After a service at Memorial Baptist Church he was buried next to his late wife, Erma near Arlington National Cemetery.
Byrd, a West Virginia Democrat who served half a century in the US Senate, died June 28 at the age of 92.
