A knife-wielding mother slashed her husband after catching him in bed with another woman, police sources said.

Prell McDonald, 43, cut the philanderer on the arm at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday at their home on Thomas S. Boyland Street in Brownsville when she found him lying naked with his paramour, the sources said.

McDonald then raced outside and smashed his windshield, cops said.

She was charged with assault, menacing and harassment, said a spokesman for DA Charles Hynes.

Chain snatcher Francois Jean-Baptiste, 23, took bling near the 67th Precinct station house in Flatbush and was quickly busted by a cop who heard the victim shouting, police said.

Jean-Baptiste grabbed the chain from the 24-year-old victim sitting in his car on Nostrand Avenue Tuesday at 3:25 a.m., police said.

The victim gave chase, and a cop from the station house collared the suspect.

Police are looking for the driver of a private garbage truck that struck and killed a bicyclist in Bushwick yesterday.

The 51-year-old victim was biking on Varick Avenue at around 8:50 p.m. when the garbage hauler made a right turn onto Meserole Street, crushing him.

Manhattan

Two cellmates were busted for swiping another inmate’s chain at Central Booking, a law-enforcement source said.

Tracey Tallerico, 47, and Richard Hicks, 54, were awaiting arraignments when they snatched a prisoner’s gold chain at 7 p.m. Sunday on Centre Street near Leonard Street, sources said.

They were charged with robbery and criminal possession of stolen property, said a spokesman for DA Cyrus Vance Jr.

A knife-wielding thug was arrested for attacking a pal in Union Square, police said.

June Perez slashed a 29-year-old man on the finger at Union Square East and East 14th Street at 12:15 a.m. last Friday, cops said.

The victim needed 14 stitches, sources said.

Bronx

Two goons assaulting a transsexual in Morris Heights, police sources said yesterday.

Randy Polanco, 42, and José Torres, 28, saw the 36-year-old victim arguing with a male friend at Walton Avenue and East 167th Street at 5:53 p.m. Tuesday, sources said.

Polanco allegedly hurled a bottle in their direction as one of the suspects screamed epithets.

Polanco then punched the transsexual in the face as Torres got in on the action, sources said.

The thugs were nabbed for assault, said a spokesman for DA Robert Johnson.

Queens

A couple beat a man to death in Astoria Park in a robbery gone awry yesterday, police said.

Thomas Donovan, 31 and Kelly Harnett, 28, allegedly accosted Ruben Vargas, 32, just after 3:30 a.m.

A witness called cops after seeing two people pummeling Vargas, who died at the scene.

A state correction officer was busted for threatening her boyfriend’s ex gal pal, police sources said.

Dawn Hunt, 31, assigned to Staten Island’s Arthur Kill Correctional Facility, repeatedly phoned the ex Tuesday at the victim’s Jackson Heights home, sources said.

The victim, 27, alerted cops and Hunt was busted that day and charged with aggravated harassment, said a spokesman for DA Richard Brown.

Guess he’s not her favorite nephew.

A teen thief and two pals burglarized the Woodrow home of his aunt, cops said yesterday.

Gregory Bressi, 18, allegedly broke into the residence on Sheldon Avenue near Vernon Avenue at 1:10 p.m. Monday while pals Daniel Martello, 16, and Michael Masula, 18, acted as lookouts, cops said.

As the no-good nephew swiped more than $1,000 cash, his aunt approached the home and spotted Martello on his cellphone alerting Bressi, sources said.

The three were arrested for burglary and grand larceny, said a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan.

A woman was busted after she swiped more than $5,700 in jewelry from her boyfriend’s New Brighton home, authorities said yesterday.

Krystal Douglas, 24, helped herself to a watch, a ring and a wallet from the apartment on Westervelt Avenue at 2 p.m. on May 4, cops said.

She allegedly sold the bling at a pawn shop.

The boyfriend reported the jewelry missing, and police traced the stolen loot to Douglas, cops said.

She was arrested on charges of grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.

Police serving a search warrant busted a man in possession of marijuana and a loaded semiautomatic at the suspect’s Dongan Hills home, authorities said.

Cops executed the warrant at the home of Daniel Brooks, 26, on Richmond Road at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, sources said.

They recovered a .380, ammunition and pot.

Brooks, who allegedly admitted owning the contraband, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and marijuana.
