Tiger Woods’ mistress Rachel Uchitel joins cast of ‘Celebrity Rehab’

Tiger Woods’ favorite mistress is set to follow the golfing star into rehab — but not for sex addiction.

Rachel Uchitel, whose affair with the married father of two began his downfall late last year, will make her inevitable reality-TV debut on VH1’s “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.”

She will be treated for an addiction to pills, the network said without disclosing what type of pills.

The 35-year-old beauty, whom VH1 describes as an “infamous party planner,” will be joined at the Pasadena Recovery Center in California by actor Jeremy London of “Party of Five” fame, original supermodel Janice Dickinson and ’70s teen heartthrob Leif Garrett, among others.

The show’s producers apparently believe Uchitel can rescue their ailing ratings. The upcoming fourth season was rumored to be falling apart because the host, Dr. Drew Pinsky, was struggling to find “celebrities” willing to go on camera and off drugs at the same time.

The eight-episode season is expected to premiere late this year.

Uchitel also had an offer from Donald Trump to compete on “Celebrity Apprentice.” Trump personally called Uchitel a few weeks ago and offered her a place on the next season of the show, TMZ reported last week.

She told him “absolutely,” according to the celebrity-news Web site, although NBC has the final say on which celebrities make the cut.

It was unclear whether Uchitel’s decision to go on “Celebrity Rehab” would deny Trump the chance to fire her on air.
