Man survives point-blank shooting

A man was shot at point-blank range while standing on a Bronx street, authorities said.

Surveillance video shows the 27-year-old victim standing in front of a deli on Laconia Avenue at around 8 p.m. Saturday just before the gunman runs up to him and fires one shot into his chest, mere feet away from skipping children and horrified bystanders.

The injured man is seen staggering away as the shooter runs off in the opposite direction.

The man was treated at Jacobi Hospital and was listed in stable condition, cops said.
