Carmelo’s Knicks jersey passes LeBron’s as NBA’s top seller

Fresh off claiming the Eastern Conference’s Player of the Week award, Carmelo Anthony also took over the top spot on the NBA’s best-selling jersey’s list.

Anthony surpassed LeBron James to top the list, which is based on combined sales from the NBA Store on Fifth Avenue and NBAStore.com from November until now. In doing so, Anthony became the first Knick to top the list since it began back during the 2001-02 season.

The Knicks also maintained the top spot in team merchandise sales.

Deron Williams also appeared on the list, finishing sixth behind Anthony, James, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant and Derrick Rose – the highest spot he’s ever reached on the list. The Nets also finished fourth in merchandise sales behind the Knicks, Heat and Lakers, which is the highest spot the franchise has ever reached on the list over a full sales period.

Amar’e Stoudemire also made an appearance on the list, finishing 14th.
