Chris Brown’s bodyguard sues Drake, club over wild SoHo brawl

Crooner Chris Brown’s longtime bodyguard has joined the legal battle against his boss’ nemesis Drake over disfiguring injuries he sustained during last summer’s superstar melee at a SoHo nightclub.

Patrick Strickland, 43, of Queens Village, was protecting Brown on June 13 at W.i.P. when Drake allegedly had a server deliver a note to Rihanna’s beau that read, “I am f -king the love of your life,” according to the Manahttan Supreme Court lawsuit filed yesterday.

A knock-down-drag-out bottle brawl ensued and someone cracked Strickland over the head with a vodka bottle, according to his attorney Hunter Shkolnik. He required 25 stitches.

Strickland, who’s still employed by Brown, is also suing the club for an unspecified sum.

This is at least the eighth lawsuit inspired by the club fight heard round the world.
