Skip the cake and candles and fire up your charge card: Fashion’s Night Out is turning four. This year’s style extravaganza, taking place Sept. 6, promises to top previous years’, with scores of performances, star sightings and super-chic giveaways. For a complete schedule, check out fashionsnightout.com, which goes live today. Or start planning your shopping experience right now, with our picks below.

SAKS FIFTH AVENUE, 611 FIFTH AVE.

Fashion icon Oscar de la Renta will make a rare appearance to launch his new fragrance. Style seekers can mix it up with designer Erin Fetherston, then score her signature bangs from hairdresser Edward Tricomi. There’ll also be private beauty consultations from the experts at Estée Lauder, and custom-print Suno nail designs will be on hand. Other tastemakers to rub elbows with include Max Osterweis. An Instaprint station will capture the night with filtered souvenir photographs.

BLOOMINGDALE’S, 1000 THIRD AVE.

Watch a stunt driver put the pedal to the metal on a BMW motorcycle, then cruise inside to enjoy an appearance by Matchbox 20. “Gossip Girl” actress and socialite mom Kelly Rutherford will model Magaschoni, while designers Carmen Marc Valvo and Christian Cota show off their chic new collections. Ditch Plains chef Marc Murphy will top off the festivities with a cooking demo on Bloomie’s sixth floor. Expect treats!

MACY’S, 151 W. 34TH ST.

Celebrate the opening of the world’s largest shoe floor with a fashion-themed trivia game hosted by none other than Michael Kors. DJs will spin throughout the store as FNO participants enjoy nail bars and refreshment stands. Say hello to actress Britt Robertson on the fourth floor, then create a special Tommy Girl look to win a Macy’s shopping spree. Clinton Kelly from “What Not To Wear” will dole out style tips on five, and guys who just need a break can retreat to the men’s lounge on three for cigar rolling and refreshments.

LORD & TAYLOR, 424 FIFTH AVE.

L&T kicks off an evening of fashion and frivolity with a meet-and-greet with past and present “Project Runway” designers. See if you can outstep Season 1 winner Jay McCarroll, or win the challenge against Mondo Guerra from Season 8. Then, meet some of New York City’s bravest — and hottest — firefighters, and pick up a free copy of their 2013 NYC Firefighters Calendar. Stargazing? Feast your eyes on Olympic figure skating gold medalist Kristi Yamaguchi, who’ll sign complimentary tote bags, and Kim Kardashian, who’ll be promoting her new perfume. Husband-and-wife team Max and Lubov Azria will also make an appearance along with Joyce Azria, Max’s daughter and BCBGeneration’s creative director.

BERGDORF GOODMAN, 754 FIFTH AVE.

BG celebrates its 111th anniversary with the launch of author Sara James Mnookin’s book “Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf Goodman,” an illustrated anthology of anecdotes about the storied luxury store. (The book follows a documentary of the same name that inspired it.) More than 100 designers have created an exclusive collection for the occasion, which you can peruse to music from Brooklyn’s the Blue Vipers and DJs Johnny Dynell and Lady Bunny. Guests can get their brows, lids and lashes done and chat with designers Naeem Khan, Thakoon Panichgul and Lela Rose.

HENRI BENDEL, 712 FIFTH AVE.

The Bendel atrium will be transformed into an opulent stage — the better for acrobats from Cirque du Soleil’s “Zumanity” to give a gravity-defying performance. Enjoy a glass of Prosecco or a cocktail while you watch them in the Vegas-casino-themed lobby. Upstairs, you’ll be able to nibble artisanal food-truck noshes from Urban Lobster Shack and Nuchas. For a finishing touch of glamour, pick up a gorgeous print from famed fashion illustrator Izak Zenou, and have it signed by the artist on-site.
