An injured Alex Rodriguez is making the most of his down time—he’s trying to score a whopping $38 million for his Miami Beach estate.

He bought the nine-bedroom, 11-bathroom home for a mere $24 million in 2010.

It has everything a multimillionaire could ask for, including water frontage, two docks, a home movie theater, 16 security cameras and an indoor baseball batting cage.

Sotheby’s International Realty gushes, “Uninterrupted, panoramic views of the water and the Miami skyline fill this extraordinary Modern Masterpiece sitting on over an acre of lush grounds on prestigious North Bay Road in Miami Beach. Completely gated and walled in featuring 275 ft. of water frontage and 2 docks.”

The Bombers’ third baseman has been on the disabled list with a broken left hand since July 26, when he was hit by a pitch thrown by the Seattle Mariners’ Felix Hernandez.

A-Rod is in the fifth season of a 10-year, $275 million contract with the free-spending Yankees.

Rodriguez is getting his injured hand X-rayed in New York today, with an eye toward returning before the end of the regular season.

He’s been throwing and swinging with his right hand, and hitting off a tee and doing soft toss.
