New Yorkers are lining up to get in on the megasized Powerball jackpot of $305 million.
Tomorrow’s drawing will mark only the second time that the prize for the 44-state game has exceeded $200 million.
“That money is just too good to pass up,” said Andrea Williams, 51, of Park Slope, who bought a $2 Quick Pick. “I want it desperately.”
X-ray technician Kelly Ficorelli, 35, said she joined a weekly pool of 29 employees at Brooklyn’s Methodist Hospital who put in $10 each to buy $290 in Quick Picks.“Whenever it’s big . . . we all can fantasize about quitting our jobs,” said Kelly Ficorelli.
