Cops hunt alleged Queens robber

Cops are searching for an armed thug who is wanted for 11 robberies throughout Queens, police said.

Darren Hicks, 28, has allegedly held up the locations in the neighborhoods of Jamaica, Queens Village and St. Albans since July 3.

In each, he brandished a black semiautomatic handgun before demanding cash and property from his victims, cops said.

The majority of Hicks’ heists target delivery truck drivers outside of grocery stores, but other incidents include robbing cashiers at supermarkets, restaurants, hotels and in one instance a car wash, cops said.

The most recent hold-up was on Aug. 2 when he knocked on the window of a Boar’s Head delivery truck, parked in front of a Rite Aid on Linden Boulevard, and demanded money from the 47-year-old driver before fleeing the scene in a white sedan, cops said.

Cops said he has 5 prior arrests, mostly for marijuana possession.
