Woman fighting for her life after her father burned her with skin-melting drain cleaner

A 50-year-old woman was fighting for her life last night after her wheelchair-bound father doused her from head to toe with a skin-melting drain cleaner called El Diablo, sources said.

Darlene Lynch ran screaming from her dad’s apartment on Schenck Avenue in Brooklyn at about 1:40 p.m. yesterday covered in the fluid, which is made almost entirely from sulfuric acid, the sources said.

She was listed in critical condition at New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Jerome Lynch, 69, was arrested in his wheelchair. Charges were pending, but sources said he admitted doing it because his daughter had abused him.
