Jilted NJ hubby claims ex-wife bedded high-school student — then married him

Reading, writing — and romance?

That’s what jilted hubby Khasha Mohammadi alleges went on at a New Jersey high school between his ex-wife, a high school math teacher, and a former student — to whom she is now married.

“The root cause of our divorce was due to plaintiff’s having a sexual affair with her 14 years younger high school sophomore student,” Mohammadi, 50, says in a recent Monmouth County custody filing.

“Despite my repeated pleas to her related to the legal consequences and public embarrassments of such an affair, plaintiff stubbornly would not yield.”

Mohammadi said he first suspected there was something amiss at Middletown HS North between his wife, Poroshat Shakoor, and pupil Kevin Hickey back in 2004.

“It was a gut feeling,” Mohammadi told The Post. “She kept talking about her favorite student.”

By the end of that school year, his wife was eager to accompany Hickey on trips to area colleges, Mohammadi claimed.

“I thought it was a bit early for a sophomore, but I still didn’t think there was anything nefarious,” Mohammadi said. But when he met the young stud, “I said, ‘OK there is something wrong here.’ Of all the kids to help, she picked a handsome, athletic young man.”

What followed, he claims, just didn’t add up: over 1,000 “inappropriate e-mails,” and an astonishing number of phone calls between Hickey and his math teacher.

“More than dozen phone calls lasting more than three hours per day, day after day, week after week, month after month!” Mohammadi says in court papers.

In a recent letter to the school superintendent, Mohammadi also alleges secret rendezvous in “secluded private places outside the school,” and gift-giving between the student and teacher.

The e-mails are sealed as per the 2009 divorce settlement, but Mohammadi provided The Post with phone bills for several months in 2005, showing hundreds of calls at all hours of the day.

“At some point, you’re going to run out of interesting math problems to talk about,” Mohammadi said.

Middletown school officials and the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office said they investigated the hubby’s claims but could not substantiate them.

“It is precisely the lack of any appropriate response that is outrageous: from the school board of education that is willfully blind, to law enforcement officials that seem apathetic,” Mohammadi said.

Shakoor, 37, told The Post her ex is a liar who in the past forced her to file a temporary restraining order against him and who will stop at nothing to get custody of their kids.

“He is coming from Iran, a country where the children belong to the father. He will do anything to take my children away from me,” she said. “This is ridiculous and absurd for someone to make such accusations and want to taint my reputation as a teacher. I don’t accept it.”

Shakoor said she only started dating Hickey, 24, who did not return a call for comment, “a year and a half ago.”

Shakoor said she and Hickey are now married but refused to answer any questions about their relationship.
