‘X’ marks the spot — with Khloe?

Khloe Kardashian could be the next host of “The X Factor.”

Kim’s little sister, who starred on several E! shows with her overexposed siblings (and her husband, NBA star Lamar Odom), is the “front runner” to replace Steve Jones for the show’s upcoming season, according to tmz.com.

Kardashian tested for the role and has “at least an 85 percent chance” to get the job, a source told tmz.

If that’s the case, Kardashian would have to get her act together quickly, since “The X Factor” kicks off its second season next Wednesday on Fox.

(However, she wouldn’t appear as the on-air host until next month, since the show’s audition rounds will air first.)

If Kardashian joins “The X Factor,” it will be the last piece of creator/judge Simon Cowell’s complete revamp of the show, which didn’t quite live up to ratings expectations in its maiden season last fall.

Since the show ended last December, Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul were jettisoned as judges, while the Welsh-born Jones was also given the boot.

Cowell, clearly going for young viewers, hired Britney Spears and Demi Lovato to join himself and L.A. Reid at “The X Factor” judge’s table.

In addition to appearing on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” Khloe has also appeared on “Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami” — with her sister, Kourtney Kardashian — and “Khloe and Lamar,” with her husband, who plays for the LA Clippers.

Fox officials had no comment when contacted by The Post.
