Man who ran on field during Santana’s no-hitter fined $5K, gets 100 hours of community service

He’s gonna pay for his no-no no-no.

A die-hard New York Mets fan who ran onto Citi Field during Johan Santana’s no hitter celebration pleaded guilty today and will have to pay up for his overzealous behavior.

Rafael Diaz, 32, was ordered by a Queens judge to hand over $4,000 in civil penalties to the Mets, $1,000 to the city, perform 100 hours of community service and must not visit Citi Field for one year.

The Mets have already banned him for life.

Diaz pled guilty to interfering with a professional sporting event, was sentenced to a conditional discharge and must complete all the conditions by Dec. 14 or he faces up to a year behind bars, said Queens District Attorney Richard Brown.

After Santana threw the first no-hitter in Mets history on June 1, Diaz jumped over the railing and onto the field where he came into contact with various players before he was apprehended, said Brown.

“I was overcome with emotion,” Diaz told The Post after he was released from jail in June still sporting the Gary Carter jersey he wore on his first and last time on the turf.
