Cocky sexpot Lexa Berman — who Simon Cowell called “Jersey Shore” meets the Kardashians during last Thursday’s auditions — is the stepdaughter of Sylvester Stallone’s recently deceased sister, The Post has learned.
Berman, 22, says her dad, Louis D’Alto, walked out on his family in New York shortly after her mother became pregnant in 1989.
“In the midst of her pregnancy, he started seeing Toni Ann [Filiti], Stallone’s sister,” she says.
“He was trying to be an actor at the time, so he wanted to jump start his career, and Toni Ann was the way he was going to do it. He ended up moving to California, and they got married.”
The struggling entertainer says producers were unaware of her connection to the action star when she submitted an online audition last spring.
Though she failed to impress newbie judges Britney Spears and Demi Lovato, video of Berman performing Alex Clare’s “Too Close” quickly racked up more than 5 million views on YouTube.
“I have gotten an array of different reviews on it,” she admits. “Many bad, but many defending me as well. I even got one death threat.”
