New York Congressman Michael Grimm said yesterday an intruder broke into his office over the weekend and erased the hard drive on a computer that contained confidential campaign files and polling data.
“It’s a robbery of a congressman’s office; it’s a very big deal,” said the Staten Island Republican, a former FBI agent who’s up for re-election.
“We just thought it was an act of vandalism,” said Grimm. “It was certainly targeted toward this campaign.”
