Bill and Giuliana Rancic gave up privacy — at least the traditional variety — five seasons ago.

But the first couple of make-nice reality TV had more than their own privacy to worry about this time.

When “Giuliana and Bill” returns tomorrow night (9 p.m., Style channel), it will reveal the identity of the surrogate mom — a 32-year-old French woman named Delphine.

Last season, Delphine’s face had been obscured and her voice not heard to protect her.

After Edward Duke was born last month, the wraps came off.

Delphine had never heard of the Rancics or their popular cable reality show when they were paired up by a Colorado agency last year.

“She doesn’t watch a lot of TV,” Giuliana says. “When we met, she had no idea who she was meeting.”

It was Delphine’s first time as a surrogate mother, Bill says.

A French national, she’d come to the US in her early 20s as an au pair, met and married an American, moved to Colorado and had two kids of her own.

She now works “in the corporate world,” according to Bill.

If she has her own reasons for wanting to get into the surrogacy business, Delphine does not appear to have shared then with the Rancics.

“She never had any trouble getting pregnant and she just wanted to help, to make a difference for parents who couldn’t do this on their own,” says Bill.

The show began three years ago as a light-hearted look at the romance between the first “Apprentice” winner (Bill) and the TV presenter who fell for him during an interview (Giuliana).

But it has become much more serious since then, first showing Giuliana’s problem getting pregnant and then her diagnosis with breast cancer.

This season, the arrival of a baby promises more change.

From the start, Delphine did not object to being shown on the series — though all three decided that it would be best if she remain anonymous until after the birth.

“Blurring her [again] would make it look like we had something to hide,” says Giuliana.

Bill says that Delphine has no plans to be a surrogate again — except if he and Giuliana want to do it again.

“Down the road, I have a feeling we’ll be knocking on her door again,” he says.
