Another blow for Gang Green.
A day after his Jets were thumped 34-0 by the 49ers, team owner Woody Johnson said Mitt Romney winning the election was more important than the Jets having a winning season.
“Well, I think you always have to put country first,” Johnson (pictured) told Bloomberg TV. “So I think it’s very important that, for not only us but, in particular, for our kids and grandkids, that this election come off with Mitt Romney and [Paul] Ryan as president and vice president.”
Johnson has helped raise millions of dollars for Romney’s campaign.
