How 007 makes a killing

James Bond has a license to kill — and kill, and kill, and kill.

The dashing British agent has more blood on his hands than any Bond villain, a British newspaper has found, noting that 007 has killed 352 people in service of the queen.

From “Dr. No,” in 1962, to the most recent “Quantum of Solace,” the spy has averaged 16 kills per flick, The Guardian reports.

007’s biggest single-movie body count came in 1995’s “GoldenEye,” in which Bond No. 5, Pierce Brosnan, liquidated 47 bad guys.

The flick helped make Brosnan the Bond actor who used his license to kill the most, with 135 villains dispatched in four films. Roger Moore came in second with 90 kills in seven films, and original Bond Sean Connery was third with 72 kills in six films.

Current Bond Daniel Craig has only killed 27 in his two films. But he has a chance to catch up in “Skyfall,” which hits theaters Nov. 9.
