Two animal paws were found in Central Park, part of what appears to be a ritualistic ceremony.

The ASPCA is investigating the find after a caller reported the gruesome discovery in the north section of the park at about 1 p.m. Monday, said agency spokesman Joe Pentangelo.

Forensics experts are working to determine what kind of animal remains were found.

They resembled dog paws and were found in a bag that may have been made from an animal skin or carcass.

The ASPCA is asking anyone with information on this case or other animal-cruelty cases to call its tip line at (877) THE- ASPCA.

A bumbling burglar struck out seven times in one robbery spree in Brooklyn Heights, police said.

He tried to get into five apartments at 75 Henry St. and two pads at 75 Livingston St. between 4:30 and 6:35 a.m. last Friday, police added.

A suspect was scared off after encountering tenants at each apartment, police said.

Cops released a photo of an armed bandit wanted for allegedly sticking up a man in a building stairwell in Brownsville.

Four punk robbers threatened to stab their victim for his cash in Bushwick, cops said.

The 49-year-old victim encountered the hoodlums while leaving the elevator of a Moore Street building at 5:20 a.m. on Sept. 29.

“Give me your money or I’ll stab you,” one punk snarled while pointing a knife at the man’s stomach, police sources said.

The cohorts began rummaging through his pockets, but the man bravely fought them off while shouting, “Don’t do that, I’m older than you,” sources added.

The young toughs fled, but police soon apprehended two boys, 15 and 14, on charges of attempted robbery, cops said.

The other suspects were on the lam.

The Bronx

A spray-painting punk is wanted for vandalizing an elevator in a Claremont housing project, authorities said.

The bald man was recorded spraying the lens of a security camera in the Morris Houses building at 1373 Washington Ave. at about 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 21, police said.

A bodega clerk in Wakefield was assaulted after he caught two men stealing, authorities said.

“I’m gonna call the cops,” the victim told David Richards, 20, and Keavin Phillip, 20, when he spotted them trying to flee with items from the shelves of the Barca Deli Grocery on Bronxwood Avenue near East 230th Street at about 5:30 p.m. last Friday, court papers state.

Phillip choked and punched the clerk along with his cohort, cops added.

Police officers apprehended the suspects within 15 minutes on charges of robbery, assault and possession of stolen property, records show.

Police are looking for the burglar who ripped off a produce store in Bronxdale, authorities said.

The crook pried open the gate of Pick and Pack Produce at Lydig and Cruger Avenues at 3:40 a.m. on Sept. 27, police said.

Inside, he grabbed an unknown sum of cash from the register.

Queens

A man is accused of raping a 26-year-old woman in Jamaica, police said.

Stephen Rasool, 30, allegedly attacked the victim at 2:15 p.m. on Sept. 27, law-enforcement authorities added.

He allegedly threatened the victim and forced himself on her. It wasn’t immediately clear if he had been brandishing a weapon.

Staten Island

An enraged teenage girl sprayed water mixed with jalapeno pepper in the face of a rival outside New Dorp HS, authorities said.

Princess Hall, 16, was arrested following the attack Wednesday at 8:40 a.m. at the bus stop outside the school on New Dorp Lane.

The victim suffered severe eye pain, cops said.

Hall was charged with assault, while the victim was treated at Staten Island University Hospital, cops added.
