A record 15 names were added yesterday to the NYPD memorial in Battery Park City.

Among them was Peter Figoski, a highly decorated 22-year cop gunned down last year by a robbery suspect in a tenement hallway in the East New York section of Brooklyn.

“Peter Figoski left behind a legacy of courage, a legacy of commitment and service to the people of our city,” said Commissioner Ray Kelly at the somber ceremony attended by the tragic cop’s daughters (inset). Also honoring the fallen with a tender touch of the wall was the sister of Officer Robert Ehmer, a 9/11 first responder who died of cancer.

Thirteen of those honored died of illnesses stemming from their rescue and recovery work at Ground Zero. The 15 was Officer Alain Schaberger, who was pushed to his death subduing a suspect in a domestic-violence call.
