Details in ‘Melrose’ manslaughter trial

Former “Melrose Place” star Amy Locane-Bovenizer, on trial for aggravated manslaughter, allegedly killed a woman with her car after first getting into a fender-bender with someone else.

Maureen Ruckelshaus testified Wednesday in court that Locane first hit her car before plowing into another car and killing Helene Seeman, 60, and seriously injuring her husband near Princeton, NJ, in 2010.

Locane, who was coming from a barbecue, had a blood-alcohol level nearly three times the legal limit.

Ruckelshaus testified that Locane offered her to call police after their fender-bender. But Ruckelshaus instead reached into Locane’s car to grab her keys, causing Locane to leave the scene with Ruckleshaus pursuing her for four miles — honking her horn and flashing her lights before Locane hit Seeman’s car, according to reports.

“I knew how drunk she was,” Ruckelshaus said in courtroom testimony. “My reaction was, ‘Oh my God, I have to figure out a way to get her to pull over.’ ”

Locane faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted.
