Queens DA’s vow to ‘police vic’ mom

The grieving mother of an unarmed motorist fatally shot by a cop after he was pulled over on the Grand Central Parkway met yesterday with prosecutors, who promised a thorough probe into the controversial shooting.

Queens District Attorney Richard Brown, in a meeting with Cecilia Reyes and her lawyers, said his investigators would likely bring all relevant evidence to a grand jury.

“I want justice,” she said.

Reyes’ son, Noel Polanco, 22, was killed on Oct. 5 by Detective Hassan Hamdy, who claims Polanco made a false move to prompt the shooting.

Meanwhile, NY1 reported that Hamdy’s partners loaded Polanco into the rear of their unmarked vehicle and hooked him up to an oxygen bag and an IV line after he was hit in the abdomen.

“He was immediately placed inside the truck, the vehicle, in order to render first aid to Mr. Polanco. When the ambulance arrived, he was then removed from the vehicle,” said Commissioner Ray Kelly.
