Last month the world panicked because of an imminent world wide bacon shortage, but Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman) from NBC’s “Parks and Recreation” has a message to those still worried, “Do not panic, there is time if you act immedietly.”
“Procure as much bacon as humanly possible and hide it in as many locations as you can,” Swanson suggests in a fake public service announcement that includes cameos from “Parks” actors Azzizi Ansari and Chris Pratt.
The bacon shortage in question was supposed to arise because of a world wide grain shortage which would inevitably lead to an increase in pig feed prices which would in turn force farmers to cull their pig heards.
However, the reasoning behind the supposed shortage has since been debunked with experts only predicting a slight rise in bacon prices because of the grain shortage.
