Talk about your backhanded apologies.
Jimmy Kimmel gave Bristol Palin a halfhearted “sorry” for poking fun at her mom, Sarah Palin, on Tuesday night’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
Bristol was visiting Kimmel after being eliminated from “Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars.”
When she sat down, Kimmel said he has made “probably one or two jokes” about Sarah Palin “over the years.”
“Yes, I’m here for my apology,” Bristol said.
“I’m sorry,” said Kimmel, laughing.
“No, you’re not,” Bristol said.
“I’m not sorry, you’re right,” Kimmel said. “But I will allow you to make 48,000 jokes about my mother just to make us even . . . If you knew her, you would make fun of her, that I can promise you.”
