Teacher drug bust at court

What a dope!

A city teacher was busted yesterday trying to smuggle drugs into the Manhattan State Supreme Court building, cops said.

Damian Esteban, 33, a teacher at the Williamsburg School of Architecture and Design HS in Brooklyn, was arrested after he allegedly put the narcotics onto the security belt as he went through the metal detectors.

He was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

David Bookstaver, a spokesman for the state Office of Court Administration, refused to comment on any aspect of the arrest — including why Esteban had gone to court. The Department of Education did not respond to requests for comment.
