B’klyn bouncer shot dead by tossed-out ‘brawl thug’

A bouncer working his first-ever shift at a Brooklyn night spot was allegedly killed early yesterday by a revenge-seeking gunman who had just been tossed out for fighting, the club’s owner told The Post.

In a tragic twist, the victim, Christopher Brahan, 32, was gunned down on the same East Flatbush street where his half-brother was killed three years earlier.

Patricia Watson, owner of the nightclub Pat’s Palm Tree Inn, said she watched in horror from the sidewalk as Brahan was repeatedly shot in the doorway by his assailant after 4:30 a.m.

The gunman had returned to the club with a weapon after being ejected about 10 minutes earlier — although it’s not clear if Brahan was the one who tossed him out, Watson said.

“It’s like a nightmare in my head,” said the owner, who was hosting her 50th birthday party at the bar.

She said the deadly violence unfolded like “a movie” as Brahan got hit in the foot, collapsed and was pumped full of more lead.

Brahan was hired at $150 for the night to replace one of her two regular bouncers, she said.

Cops said Brahan was shot eight times after two feuding groups of men were separated — with one group getting bounced.

Cops said witnesses offered differing accounts of the incident outside the club at 3605 Church Ave.

In 2009, Brahan’s half-brother, Douglas Smith, was ambushed by thugs after a dispute at a local gym, just over half a mile away.
