A 23-year-old man was killed after jumping in front of a subway train yesterday morning at a Hamilton Heights station, authorities said.

Brent Ellis was struck at about 5:15 a.m. by a southbound No. 1 train at the 137th Street/City College station at Broadway, police sources said.

Trains were running express between West 145th Street and West 96th Street and resumed full service at about 7:35 a.m., an MTA spokesman said.

A homeless man was arrested for lying on the sidewalk during an Occupy Wall Street protest near Central Park, law-enforcement sources said.

Benjamin Donlon, 23, was charged with blocking pedestrian traffic and disorderly conduct when officers from the Manhattan North Task Force cuffed him at about 3:20 p.m. Monday at Central Park West and 61st Street, sources said.

He was one of about a dozen OWS demonstrators gathered there for a 24-hour protest, the sources added.

A man was shot to death by two gun-toting thugs in East New York, police said.

Dwayne Welch, 38, was standing on the corner of Blake Avenue and Hemlock Street at 10:30 p.m. Monday when the assailants opened fire, cops said.

He was shot several times in the head and chest, police added.

The victim, who worked in a barbershop and lived in Nassau County, died at the scene.

He had five arrests on his record, including one in 2006 for DWI, sources said.

Both suspects were taken into custody, and charges against them were pending.

Anti-Semitic graffiti was found yesterday in the elevator of a Williamsburg housing-project building, authorities said.

It was scrawled using a black marker at the Taylor Houses on Clymer Street and Wythe Avenue, police said.

The vandalism took place sometime between Monday night and yesterday morning.

A suspect used a stolen ATM card to withdraw cash from a Flatlands bank, police said yesterday.

The illicit withdrawal took place at the TD Bank branch at 1623 Flatbush Ave. at around 11:43 a.m. Sept. 6, police added.

He made off with an undisclosed sum.

Two thugs pummeled a man who was looking for the brute who had previously assaulted him, authorities said.

The victim came across Gemmy Montero, 20, and José Rodriguez, 18, at around 11:45 p.m. Sunday at Fulton Street and Lincoln Avenue in Cypress Hills, according to court papers.

He told the duo he had no beef with them, but was looking for the man who had attacked him moments earlier, cops said.

Despite the victim’s explanation, Montero and Rodriguez pummeled him with a metal pipe, cops said.

They allegedly broke his nose, knocked out a tooth and chipped three teeth.

Montero and Rodriguez were arrested and charged with assault and weapons possession. The victim was taken to Brookdale Hospital.

The suspect waved his gun in the air as he walked through the door of the shop on East 233rd Street, near Bussing Avenue at around 7:15 p.m. Monday.

The robber, believed to be in his late teens or early 20s, made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, police added.

Staten Island

An ex-con was caught burglarizing a Dongan Hills residence, authorities said.

Richard Tevault, 52, allegedly took a wallet containing three credit cards and cash from the Husson Street home at 1:30 a.m. Sunday after entering through an unlocked kitchen window.

The homeowner called police after hearing noises and spotted Tevault as he ran for the back door, cops said.

The homeowner punched Tevault, stopping his escape, and responding officers discovered the pilfered wallet in his pants pockets while cuffing him, cops added.

He was charged with burglary, grand larceny, possession of stolen property and possession of burglar’s tools, records show.
