‘Pimp’ pop also suspected of unemployment fraud

Poor Papa Pimp.

Times are so bad for William “Will” Thomas — the Brooklyn stroller dad accused of running at least four Manhattan brothels — that he’s collecting unemployment benefits, according to newly released details of his finances.

“There was $5,000 cash found in his home,” prosecutors said at his Oct. 12 arraignment, according to a transcript of the proceeding. “Unemployment fraud is also being investigated as the defendant had a benefits card.”

The daddy of four had countered at the proceeding that he was working until a year ago as an application management software sales manager for a company called Compuware.

But prosecutors insist that he had put his software acumen to work by setting up two raunchy Web sites and promoting a hooker business that sold Asian women for $200 to $300 an hour at apartments on Maiden Lane, Sixth Avenue near 37th St., East 50th Street and East 58th Street.

Thomas, 42, remains free on $10,000 cash bail and is due back in court Dec. 13 on a single charge of felony promoting prostitution.

Meanwhile, Thomas’ accused madam and prostitute, Jung Lee, told The Post from Rikers that she can’t understand what the big deal is.

“I’m a good person,” the Korean-born beauty said. “I don’t understand why this [is] big news. I don’t understand why I’m in jail and he’s not.”

She added, of jail: “It’s hard in here.” Lee is due back in court Dec. 3.
