It’s ‘compliKATEd’: ABC in Hunt for Bonnie

Bonnie Hunt will try, yet again, to come up with a winning TV show.

Hunt, who’s starred in several series over the years, is teaming with Ben Stiller for an ABC sitcom called “compliKATEd,” in which she will star.

Hunt will also co-write “compliKATEd” with Don Lake, her longtime writing partner.

The ensemble comedy will revolve around Hunt playing “a confidently insecure woman with a complicated life,” according to deadline.com.

It will be co-produced by Stiller’s production company, Red Hour Television, Hunt’s Bob & Alice Productions and ABC Studios, according to the report.

Hunt will also be one of the sitcom’s executive producers.

Hunt’s sitcom resume includes “Life With Bonnie,” “Bonnie” and “The Building,” none of which lasted more than two seasons. “Bonnie” was produced by David Letterman’s company, Worldwide Pants.

Her last show was a daytime talk show, “The Bonnie Hunt Show,” which aired for two seasons, ending in May 2010.
