Giants report card

OFFENSE

In many ways a losing effort. Eli Manning (15 of 29, 192 yards, 1 INT) never got untracked, Ahmad Bradshaw (22-78) worked for every inch. Third down conversion was 3-of-15, which usually means an ‘L.’ Nothing doing for Victor Cruz (2-23). Lone TD went to Andre Brown. Pretty ugly. C-

DEFENSE

Just crazy. Four sacks, four interceptions off Tony Romo — two by the irrepressible Stevie Brown — and Jason Pierre-Paul took his to the house for first career TD. Yet Romo threw it 62 times and passed for 437 yards, Jason Witten caught an outrageous 18 passes. One huge positive: Total of 19 rushing yards allowed. Fortunate Dez Bryant has long fingers.B

SPECIAL TEAMS

Lawrence Tynes is having one heckuva season. Went 5-for-5 on field goals and Giants needed every one of them. Kickoffs also placed nicely. Steve Weatherford was on his game, averaging 46.5 net yards. Zak DeOssie forced fumble on punt return, Michael Coe recovered. A

COACHING

Can’t fault Kevin Gilbride for giving up on the run (28 rushes, 29 passes) but nothing much was working on the ground or in the air. Perry Fewell had to juggle bodies and his secondary is still gasping for air. Tom Coughlin’s team knows how to beat the ’Boys. B
